Eleven Declarations from the General Assembly on Peace in the Korean Peninsula Officially Announced

SEOUL: Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Founder of the Global Peace Federation Foundation Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, and former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, have signed a declaration on the outcome of the World Summit for Peace (ISCP) and the General Assembly of the 1 Million Hope of Peace in the Korean Peninsula on the morning of February 13, 2022 in Seoul, Republic of Korea.

In the declaration, 11 points were announced to work together to promote peace in the two Koreas through various mechanisms such as: calling for constructive dialogue between the two countries base on the common cultural heritage, build confidence, stop the concept of war, find ways to turn the two Korean border areas into a peaceful park, encourage tourism development, sports, culture, and educational projects, establish multi-sectoral cooperation to promote food security and public health, and cooperation towards normalization of relations between the two Koreas and absolute intolerance towards war.

The General Assembly of the World Summit for Peace and the 1 Million Hope for Peace Conference in the Korean Peninsula were held in conjunction with the World Peace Summit which was co-chaired by Prime Minister Hun Sen, Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon and Ban Kim Moon. The meeting was attended by leaders, former leaders, technical officials, and experts from more than 100 countries.
